
Nishna Patel from Mumbai registered as the top Indian finisher in Thailand at Tied-46th
16-year-old Nishna Patel from Mumbai shot 72-71-77-76 (8-over 296) to finish tied for 46th at the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific at Siam Country Club, Pattaya in Thailand.
Nishna, was the only Indian to survive the cut set at even-par 144. The other five Indians in the fray who missed the cut were:

The event was won by Ting-Hsuan Huang of Chinese Taipei, who shot 69-69-70-69 (11-under 277) for a two-shot win over Natthakritta Vongvataveelap of Thailand, who shot 67-73-68-71 (9-under 279).

The win earned Huang invitations to play in two majors – the Women’s British Open and the Evian Championship in France – as well as the Hana Financial Group Championship and the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
