Noida, part of the National Capital Region of New Delhi, is set to boast another golf course at Sector 151 by late 2022. The 18-hole golf course will be developed across 90 acres at the cost of ₹70 crores. The project is to be developed by Kahsyap Builders and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. with work to begin by July 15 and targeted to be finished by mid-2022.
The Noida Authority approved the new golf course for the city in Sector 151 in its 198th board meeting on January 31, 2020.
The success of the older Noida Golf Course established in 1989 on 97 acres of land with a length of 6,989 yards, also set up by the Authority, and a waiting list said to be 1500 applicants has prompted this second development in the city.
This will be a huge boon to the game and residents of NCR, who have lost out on the earlier 9 hole scenic Unitech Golf Club in Noida which shut down five years ago due to financial difficulties of the promoters.
