The Noida International Golf Course project, initiated in July 2021, was slated for completion within a year but has only reached 63% progress as per reports.
The delay, mainly due to land acquisition hurdles, has increased the project’s cost by ₹11 crore. To meet international standards, additional features necessitate an extra ₹27 crore expenditure.
The Noida Authority has sought administrative help to acquire 2.5 hectares in Kambakshpur village, securing 95% of the required land. Once finalized, six more months are needed to complete the civil works, pushing the project deadline to March next year.
Spanning 113 acres in Sector 151A, the golf course was approved by the Noida Authority in September 2019, with civil construction by a private contractor starting in July 2021 at ₹69.7 crore. Horticulture and electrical fitments were estimated to cost an additional ₹25 crore.

The three-year delay and additional construction requirements have increased civil work costs by ₹11.2 crore, raising the total to ₹81 crore. Noida will invest ₹27 crore for building façade, interiors, caddie area, refreshment hut, maintenance yard, UGR, pump house, horticulture room, interior work, and furniture.
Orionn Architects is the technical consultant overseeing the project. The Authority has funded the project through golf club memberships, generating around ₹50.3 crore from approximately 1,000 memberships. No new memberships are currently available.
A proposal addressing the increased civil work costs, reopening memberships, expediting land acquisition, and additional construction will be presented at the Authority’s next board meeting.
