In a highly anticipated announcement, the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) revealed a series of 16 events starting in August, marking the much-awaited return of competitive golf for Indian professionals after a break of over three months since the Gurgaon Open in April.
The PGTI season will culminate with the Rs 3 crore Tata Steel Tour Championship in Jamshedpur from December 19-22, the biggest purse ever in domestic pro golf.
