Bill Murray in action at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am has been held annually at Pebble Beach, California since 1947. The current format of the tournament consists of 156 professionals and 156 amateurs playing at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Monterey Peninsula Country Club. The amateurs have become an integral part of the event and range from movie stars to professional athletes to titans of business and industry. 

Here are the selections of the top five celebrities who have been regulars at the event:

    1. Bill Murray –The 71-year-old movie star is well known for his love of golf and is a regular at the tournament. He has a 16-handicap and loves to entertain the crowd on the course. On Saturday he made a no-look putt and made the crowd sing happy birthday for Chris Stroud, his partner for the day.

2. Clint Eastwood –

The 91-year-old actor, Academy Award Winner, Clint Eastwood holds a handicap of 24.6 and last played at the 2020 edition of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

3. Don Cheadle –

The 57-year-old actor from Kansas City plays off a solid 8 handicap. You might know him from Marvel’s Iron Man and Avenger movies, in which he plays Colonel Rhodes. 

4. Ray Romano –

Ray Romano is another regular at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Best known for the hit TV show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, the 64-year old plays off a handicap of 16. Although he missed the cut this week, he kept the crowd entertained.

5. Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake, one of the best-selling music artists has been a regular at the event. The musician even holds a handicap of six, meaning he is good, really really good.
