Pranavi Urs of Mysore, who turned 21 last month, continues to play consistently in her first year on the Ladies European Tour ( LET), carded 69-77-69 to register a sole-seventh place finish in the US$1 million Aramco Series Korea at 1-under 215, her 2nd top 10 finish on the LET in her first 6 starts this season.
In the team section of the event, Pranavi played for the team headed by Shannon Tan of Singapore which also consisted of Delhi’s Vani Kapoor which finished tied-6th.
Pranavi made US$ 13,013 for her individual finish and US$ 5,226 for her team finish, taking her winning total to US$ 18,239 (₹15.23 lacs) from the event – placing her at 21st on the LET rankings with the bulk of the season still ahead.
Among the other Indian girls playing, Diksha Dagar, who finished 3rd on the final 2023 LET rankings, was 37th with Vani on 60th.
This week, Indian girls are in Germany for the US$ 320,000 Amundi German Masters, where full time LET players Diksha and Pranavi were joined by amateur Avani Prashanth, Tvesa Malik, Amandeep Drall and Vani Kapoor.
Three girls have made the final round in Germany – Pranavi, Tvesa and Diksha while the others missed the cut. Avani withdrew after the first round due to a wisdom tooth problem.
