19-year-old long hitting Pranavi Urs of Mysore, the 2022 Hero Women’s Pro Tour No 1 ranked player, shot 71-74-69-77 (1-under 291) to finish tied-22nd at the Ladies European Tour’s US$ 320,000 Joburg Ladies Open which further qualified her for the Investec South African Open this week where she opened with a two under par 70 in round one despite windy and rainy conditions.

Pranavi will return after the tournament this week after a successful 5 week stint in South Africa. Her sights are set on the Epson Tour in America for which she qualified in Florida last December; the tour starts in April and is the qualifying tour for the lucrative LPGA Tour where Aditi Ashok has played for the past 6 years.
Ridhima Dilawari, a multiple winner on the Hero WPGT shot 72-74-79-71 (4-over 296) to finish tied-47th at the tournament.

Other Indian players in the field but who missed the cut in Johannesburg, set at 2-over 148, included Vani Kapoor, Amandeep Drall and Diksha Dagar.
