Pranavi Urs
Four time Hero Indian women’s Pro Golf Tour winner, 18 year old Pranavi Urs of Mysore was awarded Rs 4 lacs by the Madhavrao Scindia Foundation at its annual charity fund raising tournament hosted by the magnificent DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon last weekend.
Pranavi, a former Faldo Junior Asia champion who is headed to the Ladies European Tour Qualifying Tournament in La Manga, Spain, this December, will find the award very useful to cover her travel and stay expenses for the all important three week excursion.
In the past the MadhavRao Scindia Foundation has presented similar awards at the start of their pro careers to such stand out Indian players such as PGTI Order of Merit winners Rashid Khan & Chikkarangappa, Olympian Diksha Dagar and 2016 All India Amateur champion Arjun Prasad.
