Mysore’s Pranavi Urs, the 2022 Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour of India No 1 , created history by shooting 12-under par over 5 rounds of 68-68-71-74-70 to finish 13th and earn full playing rights for Europe in 2024 at LET Qualifying in Morocco as one of the top 20 finishers .
Pranavi who for the past two years has been able to play across the globe thanks to her corporate sponsors has been gaining consistency and confidence.
In November, she played the final stage qualifying for the US LPGA Tour but only earned playing rights for the 2nd rung LPGA’s Epson tour in 2024.
She will now join Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar who finished 4th and 3rd respectively on the LET 2023 final rankings as a full-time player in Europe next season.
Delhi’s Vani Kapoor will earn partial playing rights in Europe finished 45th after rounds of 73-70-70-76-72. While Neha Tripathi – T-55th (75-67-72-73-76) and Amandeep Drall – 65th (75-70-70-75-76) will also gain some starts in Europe.
