42-year-old former winner on the Japan Golf Tour Rahil Ganjgee shot 76-74 (6-over 150) to miss another cut at the US$ 910,000 ANA Open at Sapporo Golf Club in Hokkaido.
With the missed cut, Gangjee remains 73rd on the Japan Tour’s Money List.
Gangjee playing in his fourth tournament since the tour’s return after a break of two months needs a good finish next week to remain inside the top-75 to keep his playing right for 2022 in Japan.
In 2020-2021, Ganjgee has made 7 cuts in 16 events played, with his best finish of tied-9th coming at the Mizuno Open in May. His season earnings are close to ₹35 lacs and he now plays the US$ 910,000 Panasonic Open, a tournament he won in April 2018, scheduled for Sep. 23-26 in Kyoto.
