Rayhan Thomas finishes fourth in Florida

Dubai based 21-year-old Rayhan Thomas, of Indian origin,  previously one of the top ranked Amateurs in the world,  now playing college golf at Oklahoma State University shot 67-69  to finish 4th at the Gators Invitational in Florida.

Last week, Thomas shot 68-67-66 (201) to finish tied-5th The Amer Ari Invitational, the collegiate season opener for him in Hawaii.

Thomas had previously won a title on the Middle East based MENA tour and played for India in the World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. He has recorded 5th  place finishes in the Thailand Amateur Championship and 2nd in the Dubai Creek MENA golf tour championship. 

A total of 15 colleges participated in the invitational which was won by the Florida University with their total score of 536 (24-under par) for a straight sixth time while playing at their home. 

Delhi’s Shubham Jaglan, playing his first year at University of South Florida, the other Indian in the field, shot 71-69 (even-par 140) to finish tied-21st among 78 players.
