24-year-old pro Ridhima Dilawari of New Delhi shot 69-74-72 (1-under 215) to win her first title of the season comfortably by four strokes at the KGA, Bangalore on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour.
Dilwari’s 11th win of her career comes just before she heads to Europe for the next four weeks, where she will compete on the Ladies European Tour.
“I’m happy to have gotten some good preparation in Bangalore playing the WGAI events. The win will definitely be a confidence booster,” she said.
The trio of Jahanvi Bakshi, Seher Atwal and Pranavi Urs, who was tied with Ridhima going into the final round, finished tied for second at 3-over 219.
Urs currently leads the Hero WPGT’s Order of Merit with earnings of ₹7,80,500 with three victories already. She is followed by Bakshi at ₹6,80,000 and now Dilawari at ₹6,20,000.
On the final day, Astha Madan made an ace on the 108-yard, par-3 8th water hole with a gap wedge. Madan finished 16th with scores of 76-82-71 (13-over 229).
The tour will now take a month’s break and return with Leg 9 at Bangalore Golf Club from July 13-15.
