Sifat Sagoo is now a Big-Ten Team honoree
Indian golfer, playing for Purdue University outside Chicago, Sifat Sagoo was named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team. A total of 81 players in women’s golf from across the conference earned the honour. A Conference is a regional grouping of colleges who compete amongst each other during the season and then vie for a spot in the national NCAA Championship. Purdue belongs to the Big Ten Conference.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team, have been enrolled full time at the university for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
