24-year-old Saptak Talwar from Delhi, who played college golf in the U.S, shot 72-73-70 (1-under 215) to finish tied-18th at the US$ 75,000 Asian Development Tour in Indonesia.
Talwar had recently registered a third-place finish on the ADT in Vietnam in his debut. A graduate in Political Science from Sacred Heart University outside New York City, Talwar had, during the Pandemic, qualified for the PGA Tour Canada.
Yuvraj Sandhu, a winner on the ADT this season, stands second on the season rankings of the 9 event ADT and looks poised to earn his full playing rights on the main Asian Tour 2024 as a result of his consistent play.
The other two Indians in the field, Arjun Prasad, made the cut while Samarth Dwivedi missed by one stroke.
The ADT tour will now head to Malaysia for its US$ 175,000 PKNS Selangor Masters from Nov. 8-11.
