The second edition of the Nuvama Presents 2nd Annual Select Group Golf Invitational concluded with grandeur, cementing its place as the most premier event in the corporate golfing calendar. Held over two days from January 11-12 at the ITC Classic Golf & Country Club, the event brought together golf enthusiasts, business leaders, and prominent personalities for an unparalleled experience of sport, relaxation, and networking.
The tournament, conceptualised by Arjun Sharma – Chairman and Managing Director of Select Group, was envisioned as a luxurious weekend retreat for like-minded leaders. Following the success of its inaugural edition in October 2023, the event returned with meticulous planning and an expanded scope to deliver an even more memorable experience.

The event’s participants enjoyed the warm hospitality and opulence of the refurbished 150-room Heritage Village Resort & Spa, Manesar. Complementing the serene surroundings were live entertainment and insightful panel discussions featuring celebrities and experts, creating a perfect blend of leisure and intellectual engagement.

A Ryder Cup-Style showdown
The tournament followed a Ryder Cup-style format, with players divided into two teams led by PGTI CEO Amandeep Johl and 3-time Asian Tour winner Gaurav Ghei. In a thrilling face-off, Team Manesar, captained by Amandeep Johl, emerged victorious, leveling the series 1-1 after Team Goa’s win in the inaugural edition.
The event also had a philanthropic dimension, raising funds for the Amaraah Foundation, an initiative by Jyotsana Sharma, dedicated to the welfare of over 1,000 stray dogs in Delhi NCR. Participants supported the cause by purchasing mulligans priced at a minimum of ₹5,000 each, with many opting to contribute even more generously.

Day two of the event also featured a rejuvenating Iyengar Yoga session led by actor and yoga teacher Vidya Malavade, offering participants an opportunity to unwind and refresh in the tranquil setting of the Heritage Resort & Spa.
