Pro Golf – European Tour
39-year-old Shiv Kapur, who has now taken residence in Dubai, made the cut on the European Tour where he has played only 14 events since 2019, by shooting 70-70 but finished weakly with 76-73 for a 1-over 289 total and a tied-55th finish at the US$ 1.2mn Czech Masters.
Other Indians in the field Ajeetesh Sandhu and SSP Chawrasia missed the cut for the weekend rounds which was at even-par 144.
Shubhankar Sharma, who took a break last week in London after two solid performances in Scotland, and SSP Chawrasia will now play the US$ 2.4mn Omega European Masters in Switzerland this week.
