Shubhankar Sharma who has enjoyed a stellar run in the past 3 months in Europe returned to India after several months and appeared at The Purple Cup charity tournament at KGA in Bangalore on Oct. 21 supported by Brookfield Properties in partnership with Enable India. The charity works on disability inclusion and the event raised awareness about disabilities and supported India’s Blind Golf Movement.

The tournament commenced at 6 am and was played in the modified Stableford format with a shotgun start. A Golf clinic was also conducted for visually impaired individuals to learn the game under professional supervision. The clinic aimed to train and select visually impaired golf enthusiasts who could potentially represent the Indian Blind Golf team.
