Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy will go head-to-head against long-time friends Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth on Dec. 10 in the seventh edition of The Match, a series of high profile, made for television exhibition events which raise money for various charities.
The event will be held at Pelican Golf Club in Florida and be played over 12 holes instead of 18 starting at 7 p.m. under lights, an attempt to attract a prime time audience.
Have heard from multiple sources that the next Match plans to include Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth. It’s tentatively scheduled for 12/10 at Pelican Golf Club outside of Tampa under the lights.

This will be Woods’ third appearance in The Match. He took on Phil Mickelson in the first ever Match in November 2018 and returned in 2020 to team up with Peyton Manning to take down Mickelson and Tom Brady in a charity challenge.
This will be the first appearances for McIlroy, Spieth and Thomas, although Thomas did work at the aforementioned 2020 charity match as a commentator. Woods, McIlroy and Thomas were part of a similar exhibition in September 2020 to show off Payne’s Valley Golf Club, the first public-access golf course designed by Woods’ TGR Design firm, as well as raise money for the Payne Family Foundation.
