25-year-old Tvesa Malik from DLF GC, Gurugram made a late birdie to finish in the top 10 with a total of 10 under 278 after scores of 74-69-67-68 at the US$ 1mn Saudi Ladies International at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Saudi Arabia.
This marked Tvesa’s fifth top-10 finish of the season on the Ladies European Tour (LET), and her cheque of close to Euro 20,000 (Rs 17 lacs approx) moving her to 19th on the tour’s money list.
Aditi Ashok followed one stroke back to finish tied-13th, with scores of 73-69-69-68 (9-under 279), to register a close to Euro 16,500 cheque and her fourth top 15 finish on the tour.
The other Indian in the field was Olympian Diksha Dagar who shot 74-74 (4-over 148) to miss the cut by one shot.
The three girls are now scheduled to play the US$ 1mn Aramco Team Series – at the same course in Jeddah, the final edition of the four event Aramco team series from Nov. 10-12.
