In what has become one of the keenest competitions in Indian club golf, the United Services Club won the 27th Annual Grovers InterclubChampionship yesterday after a gruelling 2-day battle against the Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC), Willingdon Sports Club and Pune Club.
In the final match of the tournament, Arjun Nohwar from the U.S. Club made birdie on the 18th green to beat BPGC 32.5 to 32 points in a real cliffhanger. Willingdon Sports Club finished third while Pune Golf Club finished in fourth place.
