Vani Kapoor, winner of a record 29 titles on India’s Hero Women’s Pro Tour, shot 78-72-75-76 (13-over 301) to finish tied-42nd at the US$ 330,000 South Africa Women’s Open in Cape Town.
The other Indians in the field, who missed the cut set at 6-over 152, were Diksha Dagar 80-72 (152); Tvesa Malik 76-73 (155); Amandeep Drall 80-75 (155) & Siddhi Kapoor 77-81 (158).
The tournament was won by Lee Anne Pace following an epic six-hole playoff battle with Magdalena Simmermacher in Cape Town. Pace and Simmermacher had tied after 72 holes at 2-under 286.
