Vidhatri Urs of Mysore, the 2023 All India Amateur Ladies champion, carded rounds of 70-74-69 to register a close win by a shot at 3-under 213 to make it two titles in a row at the IGU West Bengal Ladies at Royal Calcutta Golf Course in Kolkata after winning the Western India Ladies at Kalhaar Blues & Greens in Ahmedabad.
17-year-old Mannat Brar from Pune, ranked No.1 on the IGU’s Ladies Category A rankings, carded rounds of 72-70-72 to finish overall runner-up at 2-under 214, another strong performance on the circuit.
In Category B, Dia Cris Kumar, the no.1 ranked player on the IGU’s Ladies Category B rankings, carded 76-79-80 to win the category by a shot at 19-over 235, while Ayesha Gupta of Delhi, ranked 2nd on the list, carded 79-78-79 for a runner-up finish at 20-over 236.
In Category C, Rabab Kahlon of Punjab shot rounds of 83-87-80 to join Anushka Gupta of Delhi, who shot 84-80-86 for a matching total of 34-over 250 and Rabab beat Anushka on the first extra hole to win the category.
The tournament saw participation from 51 girls in four different age categories – Ladies, A, B, and C.
