Hitaashee Bakshi set to top season’s Hero Women’s Ranking
20 year old, Hitaashee Bakshi, maintained her 2024 Hero Women’s Rankings at #1 with two wins and 3 consecutive runner up finishes to secure the coveted spot at the final stage of the Ladies European Tour qualifier to be held in Morocco this December.
With current earnings of INR 14,35,500, and two events remaining in November, Hitaashee is on the verge of securing the season long title—barring an unexpected twist. Sneha Singh, trailing at INR 12,11,833, remains her closest competitor, but for Sneha to claim the title, Hitaashee would need to finish outside the top 20 in both events, while Sneha would have to win both—an improbable scenario.
Hitaashee has remarkably finished 2nd in her last three starts – at Delhi Golf Club, DLF, and this week at Golden Greens, which has locked in the all important spot in the LET final qualifier.
At Golden Greens, Jasmine Shekhar, who shot the week’s best round of 66, on Day 1 held on for a two shot victory finishing at a total of 2 under par 214.
