The picturesque Golden Greens Golf Club, situated at the foothills of the Aravallis was host to a Pro-Am on March 20,2022 as a precursor to the 6th Leg of Hero Women’s Pro event being played in Gurgaon.
120 players from across NCR participated including 30 women pros who led their teams to compete in a Texas scramble format .
The winners were declared on the net scores which was 1/10th of the combined handicap of the four balls .
Smriti Mehra with Anand Sharma,Manpreet Manhas and Vipin Sethi won with a net score of -22 followed by Geetika Ahuja with Co. Narendra Pal S Alhwat. Col Kishore Thakur and Jaideep Brar finished runner up at -19 .
The amateurs received srixon golf bags and the second place winners received push carts .
“The Masinghs’ token of appreciation ” gift vouchers redeemable at the pro shops at Golden Greens and Qutab Golf course were awarded to the pros.
A small gesture to RESPECT, recognise , acknowledge ,celebrate the achievements and the milestones the women have achieved.Also to encourage them to work harder and dream bigger and aspire to make a mark in the international stage in the coming years.The event was well received by the women pros and the Amateurs alike .

The Pros enjoyed the interactions and networking opportunity with the Corporate golfers while competing at golf,in what was a fun format of Texas Scramble. The Club golfers were on the other hand impressed by the fine display of golfing skills and mannerisms by the pros.
The golfers were treated with a grand gala prize distribution ceremony at the end of the game with an exquisite BBQ courtesy Meatigo.
The event celebrated women in golf . Dhruv Verma ,CEO Thriwe and Ravi Grover ,CEO Golden Greens golf club deserve a special mention and have pledged to support women’s golf and female golfers aspiring to make a mark .
Many others should follow their example and the lady pros will certainly inspire many youngsters to take up golf and compete in the international arena to make all Indians proud .
