Zahn Bopiah
Zahn Bopiah, grandson of Col Vivek Bopiah, formerly of Bombay Sappers, topped the British Junior Tour in age group 9-10 years with a season-long dominant performance. The 10 year old accumulated a total of 648 points in 10 events on the British Junior Golf Tour’s 2021 season to emerge as the Order of Merit leader with a difference of 28 points over Oliver McDonnell, the runner-up with 620 points in total.
The junior tour’s finale event saw a total of 12 juniors having qualified through the season-long Order of Merit fight it out for the title on Oct.17th at Foxhills Resort in Surrey, England.
Cary Bopiah
Zahn, who is coached by his father Cary, had barely been outside the Top 3 in events throughout the year to prove his consistency. Zahn will be moving into the next age division in 2022 and we wish him luck.
