
Diksha at the Erinvale Golf Course before her final round
The €340,000 Investec South African Women’s Open, held from April 10-13 at the Erinvale Country and Golf Estate in Cape Town, concluded the South African leg of the 2025 Ladies European Tour (LET) season.
Five Indian girls featured in the field, with Delhi’s Diksha Dagar unsurprisingly finishing as the best-placed among them. The 24-year-old closed with a 4-under 68 in the final round to finish tied-ninth at 8-under 280 (72-71-69-68), securing her fourth Top-12 finish for this season.
Pranavi Urs of Mysore was one shot behind, finishing tied-11th at 7-under 281. She carded rounds of 72-67-73-69 to notch her best finish of the season so far.
Bengaluru’s Avani Prashanth, playing in her debut season on the Tour, placed tied-50th at even-par 288, while Tvesa Malik of Gurgaon, the final Indian to make the cut, ended the week tied-58th at 2-over 290. WGAI regular Rhea Saravanan missed the cut.
With earnings of €7,990 (approx. ₹7.7 lakh) in this event, Diksha remains in 5th position on the 2025 LET Rankings.
France’s Perrine Delacour clinched her second LET title with a final-round 2-under 70, finishing at 14-under 274. South Africa’s Casandra Alexander closed with the day’s best round, a 6-under 66, to secure solo second at 12-under. Australia’s Kelsey Bennett and England’s Bronte Law tied for third at 11-under par.
The LET now enters a four-week break before resuming at the US$2 million Aramco Korea Championship, scheduled from May 9-11, at the New Korea Country Club.
