The ₹1.5 crores Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational presented by TAKE at the Chandigarh Golf Club will see the year’s strongest line up come December 3-7. The presence of USPGA Tour regular Anirban Lahiri,  European Tour winners Gaganjeet Bhullar and SSP Chawrasia will provide fans with a bonanza.

For Lahiri, this will be his first PGTI Tour event since the Cochin Masters in April 2014. He said “I feel the need to play competitive golf before the start of the 2021 PGA Tour season and playing the PGTI was my best option to stay sharp and tournament ready heading into next year. It will also be great to meet and interact with the current crop of pros in India. So lots of things to look forward to.”

In the current USPGA Tour season, Lahiri has four starts with his best a tied-6th at Corales Puntacana which pushed his season earnings to US$ 291,121 (₹2.15 crore) and places him 53rd in the FedEx Cup Standings.

Gaganjeet Bhullar, who has the most Asian Tour wins by any Indian ( 9)  has never missed a cut on the domestic tour and will be playing his first PGTI event since the 2019 Tour Championship in Jamshedpur.

SSP Chawrasia, winner of four European Tour titles had a short 2020 European Tour season with only seven events and will be keen to make the next two domestic events count.

These three big names are sure to make the Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational presented by TAKE a keenly watched event which will be followed by the season finale Rs 1.5 crore Tata Steel PGTI Tour Championship in Jamshedpur from December 17-20.

The PGTI’s pandemic hit 2020 season will close with 7 events being played – three prior to lockdown and four since early November.
