FLORIDA
On March 6th, American PGA Tour superstar Bryson DeChambeau, hit a massive 368-yard drive across a huge lake on the par-5, 6th, while playing in the third round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
He has been in fact hinting in the build-up of the tournament that the par-5 555 yard hole was drivable, with it being a 350-yard carry over the lake.
Teeing it up, DeChambeau didn’t hold back, and his reaction said it all as a 194mph ball speed and near 370-yard carry meant he would have a flick with a wedge for his second shot on the 555 yard hole.
DeChambeau went ahead and made a birdie and later on Sunday, took home the trophy and nearly US$ 1.7 mn cheque after shooting, 67-71-68-71 (-11, 277) and moved to World No.6 from 11 previously.
