India’s premier golfer returns to play on the PGTI after a year
After a successful start of the 2019 season in Hyderabad, the Professional Golf Tour of India is in Haryana to stage their second event, at the pristine Classic Golf & Country Club, situated in the Nuh District of Haryana, from February 12 – 15. The tournament will carry a prize purse of Rs. 30 lakh.

Since then Sharma has traveled the world, won twice on the European Tour, played all the four majors in a calendar year (first Indian to do that), became Asia’s No.1 golfer, earned Arjuna Award, and named the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year on the European Tour (first Indian). All in all, after a very successful year, he is back for one last time before going to WGC-Mexico Championship on the PGA TOUR, where he finished T-9 alongside two time Masters Champion Bubba Watson and Adam Hadwin.

The Jack Nicklaus-designed Classic Golf & Country Club comprises of an 18-hole Signature Championship Course and a 9-hole Signature Canyon Course.
