At Delhi GC, the members and fans are used to names like Jyoti Randhawa, Jeev Milkha Singh, Shiv Kapur, Arjun Atwal, Gaganjeet Bhullar etc. All these players have multiple Asian Tour victories to their names.
However Ajeetesh Sandhu made everyone take notice not only for almost pulling off the victory but also with his sound compact swing, athletic physique, good looks and calm smiling demeanour.

He is not a player to be ignored considering his one Asian Tour win in Taiwan and five runner up finishes. He also has a win in Japan and has travelled the world, with several starts on the European Tour as well.
In 2005 he was ranked No.1 Junior as well as Amateur golfer in India and turned pro in 2008 where he won in 2012, 2016, 2017 & 2018.
In 2017, he earned his maiden Asian Tour title at the US$500,000 Yeangder Tournament Players Championship in Taiwan. The week following his Asian Tour triumph, Sandhu clinched the Taiheiyo Club Challenge on the Japan Challenge Tour, in a playoff against Japan’s Konosuke Nakasato with which he broke into the top 200 in the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time.
At 33 years old, Ajeetesh is in his prime and we hope to see him on leaderboards all through 2022 and beyond on the Asian Tour.
