Tvesa Malik, the 2018 HWPGT Order of Merit winner from Gurugram carded rounds of 74-76-69 for a total score of 3-over 219 to finish Tied-39th at the US$ 1mn Saudi Ladies International Team International on the Ladies European Tour. The event was the second consecutive event at the Royal Greens and Country Club and was played in two different formats simultaneously, viz., Individual and Team. In the Team category, Tvesa’s team consisting of Esther Henseleit of Germany and Dane Line Toft Hansen finished tied-19th, where the best two scores were considered for declaring the team results.
Tvesa was joined by Ladies European Tour (LET) winners Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar, who finished tied-47th (71-75-74) & tied-76th (71-78-76) respectively and Astha Madan who finished tied-109th with scores of 80-81-81.
Tvesa Malik turned pro in 2017 and since then has racked up nine wins on the domestic circuit and few solid finishes on the Ladies European Tour too. This includes the best Indian at the 2018 (Tied-13th) and 2019 Hero Women’s Indian Open (Tied-6th).
In 2020, Tvesa Malik has played 12 events on the Ladies European Tour schedule, including the major US$ 4.5mn AIG Women’s Open in August (missed cut) and notched up a top-10 finish at US$ 235,000 Ladies Open de France. She currently stands 47th on the LET Order of Merit.
This week, LET is in Spain to conclude its 2020 season with US$ 711,400 Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open de Espana from Nov. 26th-29th where Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar are the only Indian entries.
